Boston In

Puns aside, yes, in Boston and that. Left Oz Saturday morning, feels like an age or two have passed. Spent Saturday night in Narita, went into Tokyo proper on Sunday and checked out Meiji Shrine and Tokyo Dome Land, a theme park. Spent Sunday night in Narita, in the hotel bar until it closed then to a karaoke bar where we spent the night with a British Airways and Qantas crew singing tunes.

Got to airport Monday afternoon, found out our flight from Tokyo to Detroit was sweet but we'd lost the connection to Boston. So we stayed the night in Detroit at a decent hotel, eating possibly the worst dinner ever made served by a lovely waitress. Didn't check out Detroit: The City because I was so buggered from the flight.

I was upgraded to first class for the flight from Detroit to Boston, which sounds more impressive than it was. It was only business class level. Blow that for a joke! I still had a couple of vodka and tonics and ate weird chip things. For free.

Got to Boston about 12.30pm. Went to Old South Meeting House for half of a tour I could hardly comprehend due to tiredness and etc. Made it back to the dorms. Wrote this blog. Trying to stay up so I can get into US time. Not working. Brain melting. Extremely hot weather. Bad sentences.
